Day by day things continue to happen at the construction site.  Hardie plank is going up and as you can see above, and the pictures  toward the end of the blog, that the Hardie plank is almost finished as the front is the only area that needs to be finished.

As day turned dusk and the workers had left on a Friday afternoon, Kevin along with Ariel, Matteya and Kyara (all pictured above) had the opportunity to tour the house.  Let us go take a peak with them.

On the main floor is the living room and kitchen.  Our cabinets, worked on by Cabinet Solutions by Keerkes looks amazing and is awaiting for the appliances to arrive in the near future.  Towards the back on can see the laundry room.

Pictured above is the living room, with newly installed hard wood floor.  The painting is now complete and the colours match very nicely.  

Next is the master bedroom which is accented by a bright red room and grey/biege carpet.  Although it appears to be ready to be moved into we are not quite there yet.

As well is the den or spare room.  This room, complete with window seat is also nearly complete.

Unfortunately, Mia was unable to come with us on this day, she had a prior engagement with Phineas and Ferb, however, she would want you to know that her room comes complete with princess pink.

Ariel is showing her room off near her window seat and look at her aqua/neon green/not quite sure the colour of her walls.

If its yellow then it must be Matteya's room.  Matteya has always loved yellow and with the brightness of the sun she poses in her room on a grey-dusk day.

Kyara is showing off her room with a little style - we were lucky that Mia and Kyara wanted the same colour - or were coaxed to have the same colour.

Finally, Justine's room is also look good with the same green/blue colour and similar brown carpet.  The house is really looking good as all the trades have done a great job.

Picture above and below is the girls bathroom.  Complete with two sinks, make-up area, in all a four piece bathroom for the 5 girls.

Around the back of the house our deck is being worked on, although it will not get a lot of use in the window - come spring it will be a popular space.

In all, the back of the house shows all of the work still be done at the house.  With stone, Hardee plank, fascia and ground keeping/landscaping being completed in December.  All looks great!!

So as the sun goes down in the west one can see the great progress going on at our house.  We are awaiting to move in soon - but know that as the house is being worked on it does take time to not just do the job but doing it right.  However, sometimes, like Christmas, the anticipation is really hard to bear!!

Yet, we know our wait will not be long...not long at all.
